Anyone who has ever seen the movie Avatar. Will already know what you might come across upon visiting. Everything you might be thinking is probably completely correct.

Avatarenter-beach_001_edited

This whole area is filled with so many amazing colors.

Beautiful plants,

Aviary Photo_130602568207995345

and animals.

Aviary Photo_130602566483689925

There are so many areas you can walk through even little paths that may seem hidden.

Avatarenter-waterfall_001_edited

Climb through the levels of a giant tree, see where the Na’vi people sleep, eat, meditate, heal each other, along with many other wonderful sights.

Avatarenter-tree_001_edited

Its amazing being able to immerse yourself into this movie. Everything has been brought to life.

Avatarenter-soul,tree_001_edited

I really loved being able to see the floating mountains. Such an amazing place.

Once you get to the floating mountains, its so beautiful up there. Just make sure not to fall off.

Aviary Photo_130610074454671013

You can also check out the human area, to see the machines that helped the humans turn into the Na’vi people.

Avatarenter-science.humanarea-box_001_editedAvatarenter-science.humanarea-Na'vi-table_001_edited

Along with the rest of the items used by the humans.

Avatarenter-science area_001_edited

These are only a few of the things you can see as you explore this area. Make sure to wear the explorers tag from the entrance. Before you tp into Na’vi territory. Don’t want to be a threat to the Na’vi people, who you can run into while you are here. This is also a great spot for photos, I can’t get over how amazing the colors are. So vibrant.

I really hope everyone takes a moment out of busy days or night. To do a bit of wandering around Planet Avatar. You will  not be disappointed.

Catch you guys next time.

The Pulse Games!!!!!!

http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Pulse/216/124/30

Oct. 17 – Nov. 17

Sorry I havent been around to post up all of my favorite places in SL for Halloween. But, I really wanted to do this one. I have been visiting The Pulse Games for a few years now and have loved every single one. This is the 8th Annual & also a mix all of my favorite things into one : haunted house, SL hunts, storyline, & amazing  all together.

Being that this is a haunted house/hunt I will not be posting every little bit. As much as I would love to post up every picture to lead you through. That would just take away from all of the fun. But, I would like to share some snap shots of the inside to give a bit of an insiders view to what you are mising if you havent checked out any of these in the past. Keep in mind they change everything every year, so its something I look forward to knowing it will never be the same.

This year is – Don’t Panic

When you get to the area you will see two trucks outside, and will be sent a folder with the items you will need to participate. Make sure to wear these.

Aviary Photo_130593074110005822

After you have everything on head up the stairs and walk forward you will see a statue to the left there will be a small table near the stairs. There is a rat on top of the table, throughout the entire area you will find these rats hidden. Make sure to click on each of them they have the gifts hidden in them. And you never know where you may find them, so check everywhere.

Aviary Photo_130593103314602501

Dont Panic! / Hidden gift /rat

Dont Panic! / Hidden gift /rat

And then head up the stairs to being your spooky paranormal adventure. Not to give to much of the story away, but you are a paranomal investigator trying to figure out what happened in the most Haunted Home in the US trying to find out what went on inside this freaky abode. Make sure you pay attention to local chat and items you may see laying around. You will need to grab certain things as you proceed through out the area.

Aviary Photo_130593108698071939

This is the first room you come too after you step through the door above the stairs. From here you start checking the different rooms to see what you may encounter. Also, make sure to have your sound turned on or wear headphones. Sounds/lights/shadows are very important.

Aviary Photo_130593104162185114

You’ll find items like a key

Aviary Photo_130593097540959478

sheets of paper

Aviary Photo_130593098672008413

along with other items, and some secret passage ways. That will help lead you through this haunted home.

Aviary Photo_130593101207424589

Some areas may seem to be filled with nothing but dancing ghost’s although, that may be a distraction to what you really should find.

Aviary Photo_130593096563421442

Spooky symbols and dead bodies filled in this area. This is not for the faint of heart.

Aviary Photo_130593107243308274

And make sure to pay attention to everything you see, hear, and read . There are clues you just need to be open to them.

Aviary Photo_130593099816940257

Leading you to areas you may not fully understand.

Aviary Photo_130593043590543035

And to people you may not want to come face to face with.

But, all in all you will have an amazingly spooky time at Don’t Panic from The Pulse Games. The story line and scenes they created for this year are so much fun, and also freaky. I was really excited about this, and they also put in my favorite things which are hidden doorways. I honestly wish I could find more hidden doorways in SL. I would love that.

I hope you enjoyed the tiny little parts I threw in here, I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. Because this really was a lot of fun. So, have fun explore get lost in this paranormal experience. And, don’t forget Don’t Panic!!!

* Twosome for Tata’s fallowup after-event *

I had created a post before hand to let everyone know about this event. And after being there, and how amazing it was. I would love to show everyone a few bits of highlights from the night. To start things off, here is some information which helped this event come about.

ABOUT MAKING STRIDES

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer or MSABC is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting more than 300 communities to finish the fight. Every breast cancer walk and event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to honor those who have battled breast cancer, raise awareness about what we can do to reduce our breast cancer risk, and race money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with research, information, services, and access to mammograms for women who need them.

HISTORY OF MAKING STRIDES

In 1984, Massachusetts cancer survivor Margery Gould Rath wanted to find a way to celebrate fellow cancer survivors by raising funds for the American Cancer Society. Working with a committee of fellow survivors and other volunteers, “Margie” created a “move-along-a-thon” called Making Strides Against Cancer to bring people together in an event to move the fight against cancer forward. The first event, held in Boston, drew 200 participants and instantly became an annual city tradition.

In 1993, the event officially became known as the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, attracting 4,000 walkers at events in Boston and in Manchester, New Hampshire. Since then, Margie’s vision has inspired 8 million walkers to participate in Making Strides events in more than 270 communities across the country, raising more than $460 million to fight breast cancer. Margie remained a dedicated Making Strides volunteer until she lost her battle with cancer in 2001.

The progress we’re making because of Making Strides supporters like Margie is nothing short of remarkable. But it’s no time to rest. That’s why we need your help. More walkers mean the next big breast cancer research breakthrough. More walkers mean free lodging and rides to treatment for breast cancer patients who need it. More walkers fundraising mean more survivors who will celebrate more birthdays.

The Enchanted Tiki Room ~!

Aviary Photo_130566028479138835

I had posted about The Tiki room before it was finnished in an earlier post of my tour around Disney Sim’s in Sl. So, I am happy to post that everything is finnished. It’ll take you back, because everything is perfectly matched to the ride itself. Kristie Beck and the other builder/creators have done an amazing job.

Directly to the right of the Tiki Room, you can even grab yourself one of the amazing Pineapple Whips, and the best part unlike the real Disney parks you will not be waiting an hour until you get one of your own. Gotta love that :D

Aviary Photo_130566036336571199

After you step through the entrance way of The Enchanted Tiki Room, next to the stairs you will see a small Totem make sure to click on the little guy. He is there to pre-load all of the sounds & music for the ride, and without clicking on him you wont be able to get into the Tiki Room.

Aviary Photo_130566034955227084

When you step inside find your self a seat along one of the four walls, there are benches set up around the room.

Once the doors close your lovely host will come in and let the birds know they have guest waiting.

Aviary Photo_130566009941887433

Sit down, sit back, and enjoy this wonderful show.

Aviary Photo_130566007301732670

Of beautiful colors, very talented birds,

Aviary Photo_130566022553125300

some lively singing flowers,

Aviary Photo_130566026051005247

and even a few totems join in.

Aviary Photo_130566026922073611

This only gives you a slight preview of this amazing show. Everything in here works like clockwork, and brings back some great memories. If you get the chance swing on by to check out the new amusement at Magicland Park.

* The Pharaoh’s Tomb *

I was brought to this place by a friend a while ago. And, I remembered having so much fun walking through the pyramid. Avoiding the snakes & scorpions. The best part this place puts you inside of your own Indiana Jones adventure.

Welcome to the Pharaoh’s Tomb, of The Da Vinci Gardens SIM.

http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Kalepa/75/134/1964

Aviary Photo_130554040615371416

When you first land in this area you are surrounded by an entire Egyptian themed SIM. You’ll see a Gennie lamp that you can click on to find other areas you can teleport to. The Da Vinci Gardens SIM holds many other themed spots besides this Egyptian area.

As you can see from the picture above there are a few different ways you can be given a tour of this location. If you want to take up into the sky to see a birds eye view you can choose to hop in the hot air balloon,

Aviary Photo_130554039514439145

or my favorite the flying magic carpet. If you want to stay closer to the ground you can choose to take a ride on the golden scarab beetle, tour on the beautiful river by boat, and also

Aviary Photo_130554042134494565

take this guided tour being carried around by these four gentlemen.

Aviary Photo_130554045472180837

You can also find many romantic spots to relax and take photographs.

Aviary Photo_130553509608226412

If you are looking for more of an adventure this place is filled with plenty to keep you on your toes. There spots for you to dig up some buried treasures.

Aviary Photo_130554043064234580

Even Chariot races against your friends.

Aviary Photo_130554035949164948

Now for the reason I love this spot the most. The Pharaoh’s Tomb you’ll find yourself outside of this gigantic pyramid. But, don’t think this will be an easy adventure to get to the Pharaoh’s treasure chamber. You will find many obstacles to get past before you make it there.

Aviary Photo_130554038097870153

Make sure to set your daylight settings to midnight for the best experience. You will come across many trap doors, scorpions, fire, moving & falling platforms, alligators, mummy’s, and many other life threatening things. This pyramid made me feel like I was in my own Indiana Jones adventure. I haven’t had this much fun running through obstacles in  a long time.  Also keep your eyes peeled for golden scarabs a long the way they like to hand out Linden dollars if you choose the right amount :D .

Aviary Photo_130554036898573712

When you survive to the end, you’ll be face to face with the Pharaoh’s tomb in the treasure chamber. Everything glimmering with gold. Don’t forget to click on his tomb, you could have a chance to win some Linden Dollars here also.

Not wanting to ruin the surprise of the obstacles you will come across, I’ve only posted a couple pictures from inside the pyramid. Wouldn’t want to take the fun away from this experience.

I hope you all take the time to check this place out and bring all your friends to join in on the fun.

* The Leviathan Skeleton *

This is a pretty cool location, I had come across it while I was out boating around. I ended up flying right into this island and couldn’t believe what I saw in front of me.

Welcome to The Leviathan Skeleton

http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ahab’s%20Haunt/116/143/23

Leviathan-island_001

As you can see there is a giant dinosaur skeleton on top of this island in the middle of the sea.

Leviathan-island-5_001

From the head all the way to the tail you can see this skeleton is a giant.

Leviathan-island-4_001

There is even a pool that fills the center of the island where you can float around on little tubes.

Leviathan-island-34_001

Different places to relax along the beach.

Leviathan-island-2_001

And plenty of sunken ships, along with other items to explore in the center lagoon.

Leviathan-island-3_001

You might even get lucky to spot sailboats cruising around you, this area of the sea is also used for sailboat races.

Leviathan-island-6,boat-racer_001

I happened to just catch someone nearby practicing for their next up coming race. And they really are cruising fast on the water.

I actually really enjoyed finding this location, and finding it by chance made this all the more fun to write about. The Leviathan island is a very relaxing place to just get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday things, or just to explore. There’s a small pier on the island where you can rez a boat into the water and set out to see what you can come across yourself. They even have a little free sailboat to pickup for those without boats of their own. Its a nice simple sailboat that’s also easy to steer and maneuver around places.

Leviathan-island-1_001

I hope everyone has fun adventuring to this Dino island like I have. See ya next time ~
