Every year I look forward to Halloween, and mostly because I can’t wait to see what comes out for The Pulse Games. Each year it never fails to be amazing & a total surprise.

This year we get to visit Carver’s End, which is set up like a small city. With homes, business’s,

Carvers_end_haunted-carwash_001

churches, along with some shops you can purchase items, and other things you might expect to find in a city.

Aviary Photo_130904941775936643

The actual thing you are searching for is left to a mystery. But, you will be going from house to house Trick-or-Treating.

Aviary Photo_130904933355847141

Some houses will give goodies, some you may hear a grumpy man telling you to leave, and others you may end up in the home,

Aviary Photo_130904943613404117

or inside different dimension.

Aviary Photo_130904930822733749

To begin you will land outside of the city, you’ll need to cross through the dark tunnel to enter. But before you head in do not forget to grab these items. Or you wont be able to fully participate.

Aviary Photo_130904928696570404

On the left side you will find a box that has all the items, or the right side you can grab them each from the boxes.

Make sure to wear the Carver’s End Radio HUD (as pictured ) The HUD will give you text and audio messages that will help you as you wander through the city of Carvers End. And, in case you find yourself lost at anytime the HUD has a Help button that will bring up a guide, and a Home button to teleport you back to the beginning.

The next thing you need is also very important to play, this will pop-up on your screen. So, make sure to accept The Pulse Games experience key.  By accepting this you can fully enjoy everything there is to experience without having pop ups asking for your permission with every little thing. This way Carver’s End will be the only one teleporting you through the area. (below is what the pop-up will look like)

Aviary Photo_130904929275560334

Sound & text are also very important here, this way you can hear & read the sounds and clues. You don’t want to end up missing something that may have been important, just to be confused later. Make sure your volume is on.

There are lots of prizes all over the city, besides the ones from ringing the door bells. Make sure you keep an eye out for little rats, they could be anywhere. These rats have prizes inside of them. ( Below I lightened one of the rats in the photo, so you know what they look like)

* Journey to the Center of the Earth *

Naut Today We’ll be out on a Jules Verne adventure

I fell upon this place by accident, at the time I had been searching around for deep sea areas. And wound up here at-

World of the Nautilus

http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Smartie/21/111/21

Did a bit of exploring and found a lot more that I had expected to find. When you land you see the same as the picture above, a sign says Mermaid Cove with a pretty skinny looking pirate to the right. You are given the opportunity to travel the waters by boat if you would like. Click upon one of the signs and the boat will Rez right next to the dock.

Like my other post’s I will put up my favorite locations that I came across, but to post everything would take away from everyone’s chance to be able to explore the SIM on their own. 😀

Onto my first stop, anyone familiar with Jules Verne will love what you can find here. Hopping on a boat you can see a small island in the distance, first glance you spot a small native woman sitting near a fire.

Aviary Photo_130444313119735470

Towards the other side of the SIM there is another island, called Cannibal Island. Where if you touch the “green” Totem actual Cannibals will come after you. So make sure to run, or at least have some kind of weapon to protect your self.

Aviary Photo_130444312295053830

Followed after being chased down by hungry cannibals you can take a few trips. The first spot I found was Cannon headed towards the moon.

Aviary Photo_130444324478229236

If you have a bit of trouble finding this cannon on your own, I’ll post the link below. The location for this is elevated a bit.

http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Smartie/175/80/49

When you sit down in the Cannon, you are shot up into the air and land nose first into the moon. Given the perfect view of Earth. But, before you get on the cannon do not forget to grab a copy of your space gear. There is also a laser gun in the package, to help you take care of the aliens you may come across as you explore the depths of the moon.

Aviary Photo_130444328534111292

After landing take a walk around there is a small crater that heads deep into the moon.

Once I found my way back to Earth, I  decided to head over to the Center of the Earth. Just like the moon, do not forget the gear from the entrance, it will come in handy with the monsters living below.

Aviary Photo_130444323436690182 As you step inside the machine, walk to the front and have a seat. Soon the nose will dig its way into the Earth’s Core. Where you can start your Inner Earth adventure.

Aviary Photo_130444315747547969

The first room you head into is covered in mushrooms. Try not to get too close, a few of them are sneaky creatures.

Aviary Photo_130444316775829113There are many levels into the core, and many fossils you can gather along the way. But, as you go through the creatures seem to get bigger and bigger.  And they will come after you, Some quicker than others.

Aviary Photo_130444320212990845After finding the way back to the mainland, from fighting  to survive the monsters you’ve found, and make sure to stay alive otherwise you will be sent back to the entrance.

Spend a bit of time walking the mainland, there’s a small town with different buildings. One also has a mechanical whale you can hop on. I thought it was fun. I love silly addons like these.

Aviary Photo_130444329896421549

Last but not least, the main reason I found this location. The ocean-

You can either take your chances and swim through without being attacked, travel by submarine, or walk through the observatory.

Aviary Photo_130444314647195128

There are plenty of other areas, and small details to explore throughout this . A few are a bit scattered, but I really had a great time running from the monsters haha. I wasn’t expecting any in the first place. 😛

I hope everyone takes a trip bring some friends with you can watch eachother’s back, take on the creatures together.

Happy exploring-

Electrobit City

Anyone who grew up in the 80’s or has any fond memories of playing Nintendo games will love Electrobit City.

http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Electrobit%20City/128/96/1729

Electrobit City_001At the entrance there is a giant exclamation point. If you click on it you will be taken on a small tutorial that will show you how to explore the areas, and gives you a better idea of what you can do.

Theres a few different areas. A lot is surrounded around Super Mario, you can actually run through the areas just like the video game.

Electrobit City1_001Theres also a cute little bunny friend that you can have attached to you. Theres an area you’ll see him hopping around near the entrance, click on the bunny and hit attach when it pops up on the screen. And now you have a friend who fallows you everywhere you go.

Electrobit City4_001

Theres even an area that is set up looking like a nightclub filled with a giant Nintendo controller, fun laser lights, and a few other add ons.

Electrobit City3club_001

There are so many different areas to explore, where a few of them may not be completely finnished. It looks as though the creators are adding new worlds just like the actual games them selves. Which I think will be very exciting..

Electrobit City2_001

The entrances are hidden in the trees, mushrooms, disc’s, and at the entrances a big door. But make sure to explore everywhere. I was in this area for a long time jumping around, grabbing coins, and finding something new around every turn.

Electrobit City5_001

I loved it, I hope you take the time to jump back into your childhood.
